MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 2007 BOARD MEETING
-
Cuyamungue Board of Directors met on Tuesday, June 26 in Santa Fe at the institute location.
-
Those who attended were Consuelo Annon, Belinda Gore, Jackie Haworth, Carol Lang,
Rae LeCompte, Judy Morse, John Pilch, Nancy Sharp, and Frances Wilson.
-
New board members, Nancy Sharp, Chris Shirer, and Pam DeCaro were welcomed and discussions were initiated regarding what Cuyamungue Institute is today, what is the future in two to five years and what do we need?
To address these questions, we incorporated a trance journey to assist us in planning, creating systems of implementation, solidifying our commitment, establishing clarity, and developing plans for follow-through.
-
Judy Morse has taken on the essential role as bookkeeper and will be working closely with Frances, who now maintains the role as the institute Director. Consuelo was voted in as our new Treasurer.
-
A decision was made to make the online newsletter available to anyone with an email address, so that we can continue to broaden our relationship correspondences with all who are interested in the trance work.
-
Many new changes were made in the bunkhouse by Stephanie's partner Bruce, who contributed many hours of his time and built seven new solid wooden beds.
-
Several new and exciting avenues were discussed and implemented for fund-raising, membership, workshop development, and a new teacher's certification program. The Felicitas D. Goodman library has been revamped and organized, with the future goal of making it a resource available through your membership.
-
The web site will also undergo exciting and progressive new changes as a result of Chris Shirer's incredible marketing contributions.
Thanks to all who attended and all who are helping The Cuyamungue Institute to grow.
