WELCOME

The Cuyamungue Institute is not limited to our physical home in northern New Mexico, as our community of board members, instructors, practitioners, members, students and friends extends around the world.

In this section of our web site, we want to introduce you to our late founder, anthropologist Felicitas Goodman, with a brief biography written by Dr. John Pilch, professor of religion at Georgetown University. We also want you to meet our board of directors and the certified instructors and practitioners around the world who are trained to teach our method of Ecstatic Trance. You are also invited to join us by becoming a member of the Cuyamungue Institute.
