Belinda is the president of The Cuyamungue Institute, having served as vice-president for nearly twenty years during Felicitas Goodman's lifetime. She was a close friend and colleague of Dr. Goodman, and serves as her literary executor as well as continuing her work through teaching workshops worldwide. Her book ECSTATIC BODY POSTURES: An Alternate Reality Workbook introduces thirty-seven ritual postures and the method for using them, and is an essential resource for practitioners of ecstatic trance.

As a psychologist and teacher, Belinda has over thirty years' experience helping people to identify and transform core issues in relationships, work life, and spiritual development. She is the founder and co-director of the Enneagram Institute of Central Ohio and a leadership development consultant and executive coach with The Exetor Group and with S-4 Consulting. All of her work emerges from a deeply held vision of supporting the evolution of consciousness in all aspects of life.

Rae has served as a member of the Cuyamungue Board for three years and is presently the Vice-President. She has been interested and involved in the work of the Cuyamungue Institute since attending a workshop in the 1980's led by Felicitas Goodman and Belinda Gore.

Rae is a retired educator of thirty-eight years; having been a Biology Teacher, Guidance Counselor and Administrator. She spends six months a year at Buckeye Lake, Ohio and six months at her Clearwater residence. She is involved in the Buckeye Lake Historical Society where she serves on the Board and also conducts nature tours on the Cranberry Bog, in addition she is on the Board of the Cranberry Bay Homeowner Association and the Board of Directors for Continental Towers in Florida.

Rae has a deep love for the Institute and is dedicated to continuing the work of Felicitas Goodman.

Jackie has served as a member of the Cuyamungue Board of Directors for six years and is currently the secretary. She became involved in the Ecstatic Trance work in the 1980's after attending an introductory workshop by Dr. Goodman. Since that time she has participated in and led weekly trance groups, introductory workshops, and numerous Masked Trance Dances. Jackie plans to be retiring in the near future from her career as a teacher and counselor, and plans to expand her work as an instructor for Cuyamungue Institute.

Merry Norris
I am an artist whose work is focused on art as a spiritual path, and my studio is dedicated to providing a safe place for other seekers. I am a mandala painter and teacher, meditation coach, and creativity mentor. In response to the difficulty many of my students have in recognizing their inherent sacredness, I developed the GODDESS AND ANGEL workshop to assist women in their search for wholeness. Empowerment and transformation are my key enthusiasms. I have assisted Belinda Gore in presenting several Ecstatic Trance Dance workshops and co-facilitated the enthusiastically received Goddess Postures Trance Dance.

I am a member of IONS, the Columbus Jung Haus, SLMM (Society of Layerists in Multimedia), and the Center for Spiritual Living.

John J. Pilch, Ph.D. took an introductory week-end workshop with Dr. Goodman in Santa Fe (June, 2000) after a short period of communication with her by mail prior to that. He has been a member of the Annapolis (MD) group since May, 2000 and was certified as a practitioner by the Institute in 2003. John dedicated his book Visions and Healing in Acts of the Apostles: How the Early Believers Experienced God(Liturgical Press, 2004) to Dr. Goodman as a tribute to her research and insights which continue to enrich his own research and publications. In this book, he has adapted Felicitas' insights and methods to Catholic Christian traditions and spirituality.

He is the chairperson of the Institute's Research Committee which is seeks to collect and publish the research of its members. Recently, he published "The Chiltan Spirits: a research report from the Annapolis, MD (USA) research group of Cuyamungue: The Felicitas D. Goodman Institute (2000-2007)." Pp. 99-102 in _Shamanhood Today_. Kornélia Buday and Mihály Hoppál, editors. Budapest: MTS Néprajzi Kutatóintézet - Magyar Vallástudományi Társaság, 2007. Related personal research interests include sky journeys, and music and trance. John is an adjunct professor of biblical studies the Theology Department at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. since 1993 and a member of the International Society for Shamanistic Research, Budapest, Hungary.

Board member Stephanie Stephens lives in Columbus, Ohio, which is where she became involved with the Cuyamungue Institute. Her first experience with trance work was at a workshop lead by Belinda Gore. Stephanie graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Music degree and has an M.A. in Music Education from The Ohio State University. She presently teaches vocal music to middle and high school students, but is fast approaching retirement, this being her 31st year of service. She is very involved in theatre, working regularly as a music director in and around Columbus. She lives in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of Ohio's capital city with her partner Bruce and their two dogs Waldo, a boxer, and Zoe, a French Bulldog.
