Guest: Leon Sam Briggs, Seneca Elder. Our guest brings the wisdom of his tribe, sharing the power of language, song, art, and dance of the Seneca, their methods for healing, and how their culture and values remain strong and intact. “We’re still here and we have always been here,” he says. Sam will show us his hand-crafted reproductions of early Paleo-Indian tools of stone and of mastodon bones, and recount successful hunts using these tools, his work with archeologists and interpreting artifacts from his Native perspective.
