Ritual Body Postures: An Ancient Pathway
Live on Zoom • Everyone Welcome

Have you ever wondered what lies beyond ordinary awareness?

For thousands of years, cultures around the world used specific body postures, rhythmic sound, and focused intention to enter expanded states of consciousness. These experiences provided insight, healing, guidance, inspiration, and a profound connection to the larger mystery of life.

Today, this ancient practice is available once again through Ritual Body Postures (RBP).

Whether you are completely new to this work or have years of experience, you are warmly invited to join our live experiential sessions on Zoom.

What Are Ritual Body Postures?

Ritual Body Postures are specific positions derived from ancient art and artifacts found throughout the world. Through decades of research initiated by anthropologist Dr. Felicitas D. Goodman and continued by the Cuyamungue Institute, these postures have been shown to facilitate safe and repeatable experiences of expanded awareness.

Some of the artifacts associated with these postures date back more than 30,000 years, revealing a remarkable continuity in humanity’s exploration of consciousness.

This is not a belief system, religion, or philosophy. It is a direct experience.

New to the Practice?

Perfect.

Our bi-weekly sessions begin with a brief introduction designed specifically for newcomers. We will briefly explain the process, answer questions, and offer simple guidance to help you receive the greatest benefit from the experience.

No previous experience is required.

Simply bring:

  • An open mind
  • A notebook or journal
  • A pen or pencil
  • A quiet space where you can relax undisturbed

The most important thing to bring is curiosity.

What to Expect

Each session includes:

  • A brief introduction and orientation
  • Preparation for the posture experience
  • Guided rhythmic sound support
  • A Ritual Body Posture journey
  • Time for reflection and optional sharing

Participants often report experiences of insight, clarity, inspiration, deep relaxation, encounters with symbolic imagery, and a greater sense of connection with themselves and the world around them.
